Bogen 3033 Leg Repairs

<p>I'm making an attempt to repair an older Bogen 3033 with a damaged lower leg lock. I've acquired the proper replacement part and removed the lower leg. My problem stems from actually swapping out the old with the new lock. I assume I must remove the spiked foot in order to slide off and replace the lock. However, so far I cannot seem to convince the foot to come off.</p>

<p>Any suggestions on how I may remove the foot and/or replace the lower leg lock? Any help greatly appreciated!</p>
