Rick Waller
Anyone know of any guides to good birding locations in the northeast? Not looking for major sites like Forsythe in Brigantine etc - rather for small local spots within 100 miles of NY City for example.
ntrphotos
Have you ever tried the Bashakill? It's a large wetlands located just off Rt 17 in Wurtsboro, NY.
kfoster70
Many bald eagles in Lackawaxen, PA along the Lackawaxen and Delaware rivers just north of Port Jervis, NY along rt 97. I was up there 2 weeks ago and we saw at least 20 immature eagles (heads still brown, under 5 yrs old). Also in Portland, Pa in the Delaware Water Gap there are a nesting pair of bald eagles and a pair of Osprey.
