discpad
Although I've never personally used it, National Geographic has a pretty good reputation; they use dip & dunk for E6 (and for C41 by request); and their prices seem reasonable. http://www.nationalgeographic.com/labs/index.html
root
I use Rieger in the Gaithersburg, MD
david_chananie
I have used Rieger as well and they've done good work for me. But if you don't want to travel that far, Chrome in Georgetown on Q St. NW, just off Wisconsin Ave, is excellent. As far as I am concerned, National Geographic is way overpriced. james_ogara1
Edward, Asman Photo -- 202-547-7713 -- is a great operation, family owned, very well run, and more reasonable than any other custom lab in the area. They have an extensive slide duping operation -- the Library of Congress uses them for copying work. Their E-6 is $6.99 and I think it's 4-hour service, if memory serves. I have NEVER had a problem with their work, and have been sending stuff there for 20 years now. James O'Gara
m_kevin_johnson
We are not in DC, but it is a long process, so 4 hours would not surprise me. The dry to dry is 42 minutes. We just picked up an RT machine for long roll to give you an idea a 200 foot roll of film takes 7.4 HOURS! So hopefully you will catch them before a long roll goes on.
