davidmccracken
We have seen many complaints about annoying flashing ads. I have just experienced my first flashing AND beeping ad. I was looking at this photo of mine to read the comments and I heard a strange noise. It took me quite a while to realise it was the ad that was making the beeping noise. Not good!

nodpete
Why not just shut off the speakers on your computer? What possible sounds do you have to hear when online? Unless your listening to music.
joshroot
I can't seem to make that ad come up. If anyone else sees it, could you right click and "copy link" so I can know what ad network it is coming from? That would be a help.
davidmccracken
Josh, Thanks! If it comes up again I will get the link for you. It's kind of stupid that I didn't!
robert becker
I must be getting more and more impatient as I get older. The amount of time I need to wait for ads to load on every page is driving me nutty! If they start beeping or other noises, I'm going to take a serious look at pbase!
