ted_wilush
Regarding the test conducted here: http://www.lenstip.com/115.4-article-Polarizing_filters_test_Results_and_summary.html
It stated that one of the B+W Circular polarizers was determined to be infact linear. The one verified as circular was marked CIRCULAR-POL (its #6) on the ring, and the other C-POL (its DQ). I've seen both versions of ring markings for sale, and am curious if anyone's had problems with either, or if this is a one off error. Of note, on eBay, the CIRCULAR-POL version sells for 165.00, while the other 146.00. An admission of sorts?
oskar_ojala
I think the price difference should be larger between linear and circular. In any case, you should ask B+W directly and hear what they have to say about the matter. I don't use their polarizer.
