armin_seeholzer
Hi 1. Where to get Azo in EU2. Would it work with a color head with but much blue in for enlargements!
mark_sampson
1)Ask Kodak in your home country first. Azo is still in production, but few stores stock it (as you know) Your local Kodak dealer should be able to special-order some. www.kodak.com/products has the catalog numbers and technical info. 2) Azo is too slow to enlarge on or to contact print under an enlarger. Go to www.michaelandpaula.com for all the information you willneed.
light-zone
Hi Armin, say your breath. I've contacted Kodak in Germany, France and Switzerland and each time got the same answer. They do not have it in their own country and are not aware of any sources for Azo in Europe. It's a lost cause. Save your sanity and order it from the USA. david_goldfarb
I don't know if there is any advantage to ordering from the UK rather than the US from the continent, but you might try www.silverprint.co.uk. They don't list it on the website, but it's the sort of thing they ought to carry, and it might be worth an email.
jimmy_p_guet
Living in France, I order Azo from Smith and Chamlee : Azo is not avalaible in Europe. Azo doesn't work with enlargers, as Mark said.
michael_a._smith1
We ship Azo to Europe most every week. We are the only ones in the world who carry Grade 3 in 100-sheet boxes. Every other supplier will tell you it is no longer being made in that size package and tthat you need to buy 500 sheets and then they ghave to special order it. We keep all sizes and grades in stock all the time. Also see our Azo Forum. The most complete Q.& A. for everything to do with making silver gelatin contact prints. SOme of the responses to questions are so knowledgeable, that Paula and I have learned things, much to our surprise. originally, I thought it would be a place where, pretty much, I answered questions, and I do, but it has become so much more.
