Automated saving and resizing does not work CS2

I'm trying to resize some photos for the web but automated technique simply does

not work. I recorded an action where I open the file, resize it, apply unsharp

mask and save for web. Then I open the image processor, select a source folder,

destination folder, file type as JPEGs <p><center>

I had a same problem. The way I do it now is to make action for sharpening only and resizing

in the image prcessor itself. When you make action, record only the move (sharpenning in

this case). Don't record opening, saving and closing of the file.

but aren't you suppose to sharpen after you resize?

Absolutelly right. I didn't know that the sharpenning was meant for the web sized images.

Yes, then you can run two actions. Resizing in image processor and saving as tif, and then

sharpening and jpeg-ing in the second action.

I think I have fixed it. The action was a little wrong. I included opening of the file in the action. Now I put just to resize, sharpen and save for web, and looks like it works fine. Thanks for help anyway.
