Attempted to join a Critique Circle. No Response.

I have submitted a request to be part of a critique circle twice now.

I have failed to get so much as a response. Could someone at least

respond to a request, even if it is only to say "we're working on it"

or "denied"? It is really frustrating to keep checking every day to

see if I am in one.

Kimberly, when we announced the Critique Circles, we said that a new group of them would be launced each week. We will probably send out the mail for the next group today.

As much as I normally hate auto-responders, this might be a good case for one. Something like, "Thank you for your interest in the critique circles. The next one starts on [date]. We will be sending a notice to all the new participants on [date]."

 

Since this is so new, people don't know what to expect. Having an automatic email might cut down on the questions and confusion.

I had the same thing happen to me. I signed up and no response. I do feel as suggested by another user, an autoresponder or something.

I agree that an auto responder would be helpful. At least you would know that your request had been received. I requested to be signed up a month ago and have received no response.

Well, I figure that we all are outcast and what's stopping us from setting up our own circle. E-mail ZenDaze1@aol.com and lets get started.

Happen to me too, on 03 october 2002 and unfortunately I've never received a replay
