Article on longevity of inkjet prints

This week's "Circuits" section of the NYTimes has an interesting article on the

controversy that still surrounds the issue of longevity of inject prints. Henry

Wilhelm's views on the matter are featured. Look for the "Circuits" link in the

What it confirms to me is this: trust no one, especailly manufacturers.

There are so many variables involved in ink-jet printing, display and storage that any permanence guide in years is only that, a guide. To my personal tests, even Wilhelm's results are overly optimistic.
