Are Topics Removed?

There was a thread I started in People Photography about

photographing "damaged" people. It no longer appears in my

workspace, and it seems to have disappeared. Are threads routinely

removed without notice? It was a controversial thread, perhaps, but

I was surprised to see it gone, especially without notice.

 

Or have I just lost it, like my pens and my car keys?

If the question or idea remains in the regular area, the shelf life is between 24 and 48 hours. The folks in charge of Photo Net have the rulebook. Your original comment is likely gone.

Gerald - From my understanding of how this site works, that only applies to the unarchived forum. That shouldn't affect the people photography forum.

 

The forums are moderated, though, so the post may have been removed if the moderators thought it had crossed the line. Whether the author is notified or not, I have no idea. I've never posted anything controversial. :)
