Arca Swiss Contact or Repair Information

A part fell out of my Arca Swiss B1 ball head last week, so that now

the head is frozen. I need to obtain a replacement part. I can't find

a web site for Arca Swiss and Kirk Enterprises, from whom I bought

the head, no longer is an Arca Swiss dealer. Could someone provide me

with contact information for Arca Swiss, and/or suggest an Arca Swiss

repair person who might be able to sell me the part? The part in

question is that thing that you loosen or tighten to control the

tension of the head. I believe it just screws into the head so I

don't think I need anyone to actually do a repair, I think I just

need the part. Thanks.

After posting this question I scrolled down a ways and saw that Julio Fernandez asked more or less the same question a little while ago. I'll try a couple of the suggestions made in response to his question and see what happens. Amazing to me that Arca Swiss apparently doesn't have a web site.

Brian: do please take another look at that posting. Furthermore, some European firms still value or depend on personal contacts. In my experience European firms generally love hearing from you personally and will be most helpful when approached. Quite the reverse of the NA experience. In NA we have been conditioned to abstain from calling direct for fear of the automated, convoluted, impersonal and idiotic telephone answering machine. Not in Europe, ...yet. Good luck with your parts.

Thanks for the responses. I learned to my dismay that in B1 heads made within the last three years Arca Swiss fixed the problem of the part falling out, which is nice for owners of new B1 heads but is bad for me since mine is about six years old, which means I can't just screw in the new part but instead will have to send the head in for modification and repair. I'm sending it to Bob, who responded promptly to my e mail inquiry.

Not sure if this relates to Brain's problem.
I own an Arca Swiss Monoball Z1 sp with an Arca Swiss quick release plate with flip lock and noticed that the multifunction knob has come loose. It has not come off completely but there is more movement of the multifunction knob in the plane perpendicular to the normal clockwise and counter clockwise rotation for increasing and decreasing the tension on the ball.
Anyone out there with a similar experience?

Thanks.

Ron
