Has anyone used an Aqua Tech hood for a long lens?
http://www.aquatech.com.au/p--135--softhoodmedium-1381--79.aspx
or an Aqua Tech lens cap for a long lens?
http://www.aquatech.com.au/p--131--softcap1405--78.aspx
The they look like they would would be easy to use. I have an original Nikon hood and have purchased a costly replacement hood for my Nikon 500mm f4 AFS. I dislike the hood lens interface for this lens even though it has held up over the years. Good hunting. Andy

Never used them, but thanks for the info. As far as replacement hoods, I usually get the rubber colapsibles that you can purchase off ebay for about $15 or less depending on the filer size. They roll up so they take up even less room than the aquatechs. The cons are that they fall appart very easily.
