matthew_runde
A while back, somebody mentioned a new online forum, APUG.org, which was dedicated to analog photography (APUG is an acronym for Analog Photography Users Group). It has turned into a site that is, in my opinion, pretty cool - I think that it's a bit more philosophical and personal than photo.net, with slightly less of an emphasis on gear. Don't get me wrong - I like and use photo.net very much, and APUG doesn't take its place; APUG is a site where people can spend time discussing analog photography.

I don't want this post to turn into a yet another digital-vs.-analog firestorm or a "keep analog photography analog and get it off the net" discussion. My purpose in posting this is to get some more people join the APUG forum so that we can have more input. So, I'm sharing this as an additional resource for photographers.

If you're interested (even slightly), please check it out: APUG.org. jorge_gasteazoro4
Hey Pete I am a moderator at APUG and I can tell you we will not kick you out, maybe bind and gag you but not kick you out. :-))
Actually nobody at APUG has said "digital is bad!!" many of our members also use digital cameras, we only wish to have a site that is dedicated to furthering the "traditonal" techniques.
There are a zillion places where you can discuss digitial, do we really need one more?
In any casa I an sure you will be welcome (I will make sure of that) and nobody will hassle you even if you belong to the dark side..:-)
BTW Thank you Matthew for your kind comments! Later all...
