Anyone using PMK for ORT 25?

I seem to remember a time of around 8:30 to 9:00 (@ 70 F) being

pretty good for EI 25, but wonder if anyone here has run any in PMK

and been pleased with the results.

I've also got R09 on hand, which I know works pretty nicely with it,

but I lost all my developing times!

Please don't point me to the Massive Development Chart; I've posted

times to it, and the ORT 25 times aren't really helpful in this

instance.

Hopefully there's some info lurking in one or two of your heads!

Regards,

Josiah

I hope you post your results with PMK. My initial thought was that the contrast would be too high, but then the masking effect might bring the contrast down to reasonable levels - though black levels may be sub-optimal with multigrade paper. I have had good results with Photo Formulary TD3 and Ort25 with the processing times they recommend for Tech Pan +10%. TD3 seems to be a catechol-based tanning developer.

I will indeed post up a few scans - I'm going to try this roll at EI 16, and develop it for 7:00 @ 70F. Bracketing will be done to ensure SOME usable negatives, but I'll keep notes in order that I may provide useful information, as I feel I've been helped so many times here that I should contribute as I can.

2 days until I can do this test, then next Monday or Tuesday I'll post up some examples, so keep checking back I suppose..
