Anyone shooting the Geminid Meteor Shower?

The last few celestial events have had pretty heavy clouds out here -- this evening may be clear. There should be action early enough in the evening to no hardship - 7:30p.m Weds - 4:00a.m Thurs. Thinking of 2 cameras & tripods - 24 on one, moderate tele on the other.

I went out and only a small and rapidly disappearing break in the cloud cover. I've been trying to get a meteor shower for years now, but either clouds or incredibly low frequency of meteors- I remember spectacular meteor showers when I was a Boy Scout camping out, but nowadays there are only meteor "drizzles". :confused:

Some clear, some clouds, nothing much to see. I was expecting too much. Have a perfect location, virtually no sky glow, but the last few events, the usually great weather has been absent.
