bob_peters
I'm looking for a Flash file for a photo slideshow so I can build a website. I can hack around with Flash but need an .fla file to work with in the first instance. I'm looking for the kind of slideshow effect where you click a thumbnail picture to load the bigger image with left and right arrows to scroll through. I know there are things like SimpleViewer but I found that not flexible enough. I'm after an actual .fla file so I have maximum flexibility. Does anyone know of any free resources? Thanks. adityatw
If you buy Simple Viewer Pro ($45) you get all the source files including the .FLA file. I like Simple Viewer as it fits nicely with my web site.
hooman_b
Slideshow Pro - I think I've tried almost all of them, and tried doing my own. Hands down best program out there. I'm still amazed its only $25. Go ahead and spend another $25 for director. Best $50 I've ever spent on software.
idobelieve
Same as above. And definitely get Director along with it.

steve_hovland
Be careful with this. Slide shows can make your site run very slow. If they are slow, it will hurt your business because people will leave your site rather than waiting to see your work. Jakob Nielson has surveyed this for years. People think that visitors will wait for sites to load. Not true. Just because a lot of people have slide shows does not mean it is a good idea.
