anyone here shoot self portraits using face detection?

I am just dropping by to see if anyone here shoots self portraits with face detection, and the settings that they do so to get well focused shots, especially eyes? I use a d750 though this could apply to different cameras that have it. </p>

<p>I sometimes use it on my Sony A7R2, works incredibly well, as does the eye detection. </p>

I typically use a small tripod and set the f stop to about F 5.6 and use flash if needed. Face detection on my OMD E-M1 with a tablet for guidance or on my GH2 Panasonic with the finder pointed out for aiming the camera. I do not attempt to use a telephoto lens for a selfie of course. I would rather use a large file and do some cropping. My cameras have very decent face detection. Even one eye priority detection. It is magic. Take a few shots and see. One or two may even look good. And Smile!
