Any new legitimate news on the SSM lenses

I noticed recently that a few of NY dealers are advertising the new

Minolta SSM lenses.

However, the only news I could find was the original "sneak peak"

about the SSM lenses which was originally in Japanese.

Were/are there any other legitimately released announcements (no

rumors please)? Like a real release date? I checked the US Minolta

website but it's so god awful and outdated most of the time.

I was wondering if I missed something.

as the SSM lenses(3 of them) are already announced in some bigger camera equipment stores in europe as well(no price or details though), while on the minolta europe site there's still nothing.

And then they wonder why they are always the "small brother" of the other two.

In Europe, the lens is for sale. (300mm and the 70-200 zoom). Yet nobody in the Netherlands has it in stock. Dealers only order it on request. They find it too risky to have such an expensive lens on the shelf, with no digital future possibilities... yet. Why would Minolta invest in these expensive pieces of glas if they do not look at the digital future? That DSLR will shock us, but like always with Minolta, it will take too long before they catch up.
