Annoying Canon rebate question

I need a few new pieces of Canon gear (7D, EX580II, etc), but have lost track of the Canon rebate cycle. Can someone give me a decent guess of when the next round will kick off? I know they just wrapped up a cycle in late January.</p>

<p>I would guess 12/2010 to 01/2011.</p>

<p>There is sometimes a spring rebate program running in the May/June/July time frame. However given the less than generous rebates we've seen recently, I'm not sure it's worth waiting, plus there is no guarantee there will even be a spring program, or that if there is one that it will include those items</p>

<p>If you need the stuff buy it now. If you want it but don't need it, buy it in June (or wait for next fall!).</p>

<p>I just googled Canon's current rebates and they maintain a page listing all active programs. I found out about an $100 rebate for "upgrading" from Powershot to 5DII last summer this way.</p>

<p>yeah...I lucked out on this... had the 7D sitting in a B&H shopping cart late Saturday and forgot about it... went back on Sunday and it was $100 cheaper... nice</p>
