ken_brown4
Hi everyone,I just bought an 877bl tripod from Amvona with a ball head and can'tseem to get the head to level properly. In other words, I'll level itfor one shot, then rotate it left or right (as for a panorama) and cansee an arc in the way it rotates (drops or rises in the directionmoved). I'm a video guy that's used to pan/tilt heads where horizontalis horizontal until the legs get moved but is this normal of ballheads, is mine disfunctional or am I doing something wrong? Thanks,Ken
kbreak
I was very unhappy with the Amvona light I purchased.
It came with 8 extra parts that I spent several hours trying to install.
It also would not function as illustrated in the ad.
I think you're problem is buying from Amvona. Brian
I don't think Amvona is the problem. The ball head is just doing what ball heads do. Ball heads are free in all directions when you loosen them. If you want to do horizontal pans, you need a pan head.
ken_brown4
Thanks everyone. I'm glad to hear that this is just how ball heads operate (even though I still don't plan on buying through Amvona again). Thanks again.
