Hi all,
I've come across an Altman 4.5" Baby Zoom Ellipsoidal Strobe with a Norman connector. I have Speedotron and Novatron powerpacks. Is it possible to convert Norman to either of these brands? Is the Altman simple to rewire?
Anyone have any experience with the Altman?
Thanks

They do make these for Speedotron also, I have one although I don't know that it is a baby zoom, but the same principle. Have you checked to see if there are adapters to connect Norman to Speedo or Novatron? I know there are some out there for some brands, you just need to be sure that you don't connect it to too much capacitor power.

These sorts of lights suck up a lot of the W/S internally. Mine is a 4800w/s one and it is pale by comparison to a 1200w/s reflector head, although pretty cool. Just so you know.
