Agfa Ortho 25

  1. Hello,
I got 40 rolls of Agfa Ortho 25. My question is the following:

Developed in Rodinal or D-76, it is safe to use as a starting point the times and dilution given for Rollei Ortho 25?
Or the two are completely different films?
    Thank you in advance
  2. I would do a clip test and see how you like the results. Even if I or another were to tell you it's 'safe' you should still do your own test, using your own techniques, under your particular circumstances, to meet your own preferences.
  3. I used this film a lot in the 1980s and 90s. I still have a 10mtr reel in the fridge dating from 1990 and used recently it was OK. For pictorial use, expose at 6asa for the best results and develop in R09 (new name for Rodinal) diluted 1+200 for 10 minutes. I've not used it with D76.
  4. Thank you for the replies.

Peter, I did some test, it seems that exposed at ISO 12 developed in Rodinal
1:100 for 10.30 minutes delivers good negatives.
I'll try your combination next time!
