jim_occi3
Greetings All- I will be shooting a golf tournament in May (in Florida) and would like a sharp 400 speed negative film to replace the unavailable Agfa Optima 400. So far I'm thinking of the Kodak UC400 film. Any other suggestions for sharp, daylight color negative film? Thanks- Jim
d_s31
KODAK Portra 400VC.
john_shriver
From the discussions I found in a quick search, Optima 400 isn't as high saturation as Ultra Color 400. So Portra 400VC is probably the closest match, and it's grain is much finer these days in the 400VC-2 version.
jim_occi3
Thanks to all for your help. I will have two bodies with me, one with a 70-200 2.8 lens so perhaps I could go with the slower speed suggestions. Thanks again- Jim
randall_pukalo
Go with the 400UC, it is fantastic, and good for 11x14's with no grain. You will need the speed too.
