bobbollinger
Sometimes my flash will not fire. I generally use it on PTTL setting and with the camera on P or green mode. Sometimes the problem occurs on Aperture priority. Am I setting this thing up incorrectly? It seems that the sequence of when I mount it and turn everything on may be a factor. Any suggestions? denys_meunier
make sure your flash is completely charge, but it supose to recharge very fast after shooting and it supose to fire all the time to.May be your contact between the flash and the camera its not tight enough but will be surprise if its the case,i suggest a technician take a look. stephen_van_egmond1
You might try swabbing the terminals on the hot shoe and flash with diluted (say 33%) rubbing alcohol. I've never had to pay attention to what order I assemble things with my 360fgz and *istD. I assume you're locking it down?
bobbollinger
Thanks for the feedback. I put fresh alkalines in the flash and re-mounted it, taking great care to line it up cleanly and lock it down, and now it works fine. Must have been the batteries. I was using rechargeables and they were low.
