jason_losh
My father-in-law has a Aetna 66 Enlarger. It was his father's and I can't find any reference to it online. I am assuming it is from the 1960's. I'm not sure what size negatives I can print with this. I know it depends on the lenses but I haven't used an enlarger since high school and I'm looking for some basic info on this one. I'm looking to develop 4x5, 120, and 35mm film.
vick_vickery
I don't remember the Aetna enlarger, but with the name including the number "66", I'd bet it does 35mm and 2 1/4 square as did many enlargers in the '60's and '70's.
tom_cheshire
Aetna was made around mid-1970s. A basic enlarger about the same as the entry level Bogens of the time. As you can tell by the model number it does 6x6cm or 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 at the largest and 35mm. If you want to do 4x5 you need an Omega D2 at least.
jason_losh
Thanks for the info.
I found a Dejur Versatile Professional for sale, it's about $25. I'm thinking of buying that for the 4x5's. From the info I've seen online this looks like a simple unit that may do the trick.
