gary_cullen1 Posted December 26, 1998 Share Posted December 26, 1998 Anne You don't need to use the viewfinder cover to open the battery compartment. There is a small catch on the bottom left (as you look at it from the front) of the battery door that you can push the tip of a pen into and lift to open it.
