john_galloway3
I have Photoshop CS2 loaded on a laptop, and all works fine, except slow. I reloaded on a machine with more RAM, bigger HD, but now CS2 seems not to recognize RAW files. Same copy of CS2 from same installation CD on both machines. What gives? victoria_bampton
Which camera? You probably need to update ACR to the latest version - check the downloads section on Adobe's website, and follow the instructions, and it should work fine. Ed_Ingold
ACR 3.3 must be installed exactly as instructed - Program Files/Common Files/Adobe... Otherwise, ACR will work, but you will not see thumbnails in Bridge.
tony kinney
My copy of CS2 suddenly stopped recognizing RAW files after doing so just fine for several months. I checked in the above plug-in folder and the ACR plug-in had vanished. I downloaded a new one, put it in there and everything worked fine again. Yeah, I know, plug-ins don't just vaporize......
