John Sully
I've lost the little plastic wrench which came with my Bogen/Manfrotto 3021 old style tripod. A couple of the leg locks have loosened up and I have forgotten how to adjust them and what size wrench to use. Anyone out there know the answer to these questions?
Matthew Currie
If you mean the old style with locks that you twist, there should be little plastic caps over the nuts to keep them from turning. You need to pry off the plastic cap, then tighten the nut and replace the cap. The nuts are 8 millimeter, and 5/16" will also work fine. In order for the cap to go back on properly, the nut must be turned so a flat is in line with the slot that holds the ear of the cap. If you lose or break a cap, Bogen does stock replacements (other parts are discontinued). For some mysterious reason, they come in packs of five.

If you have the later type, with flip locks, you can just tighten the nut a little. It's a self locking nut. 8 mm. again.

John Sully
Thanks, you guys are godlike, I just happen to have an 8mm nutdriver and the later type of locks with the flip lever, but not the newest style.
