Adapter Ring?

<p>What is and adapter ring? And how do I know what size to get?</p>

<p>An adapter ring is used to mount a thing with a particular mount size to another thing with a different mount size. The kind you get depends on what the two things are and what their mount sizes are.</p>

<p>So, what are the two things that you think you need an adapter ring for and what sizes are their mounts ???? </p>

<p>I need an adapter ring for a super wide macro lens to my camera. My camera is 58mm, but the macro lens doesn't give the mm. Should I go to a photo store? Or should I just measure it?</p>

<p>You should take both down to a photo store, the macro lens should have its size indicated somewhere, if it does not then you will have to try out adapters to get one that fits.</p>
