Acros 4x5 in Rodinal

I have found the same times for different formats all are the same time provided the temp and agitation is the same.

I have put 35mm on a lifting rod and developed in a deep tank and the times are the same as sheet film in the same tank at the same time.

I also have done 4x5 in a tray using rodinal and the times were the same as 35mm in a small 250 cc tank.

Agitation timing and duration must be the same. Not necessarily the aditation movement which will not be the same between sheet and roll film.

Ah! The tray development/agitation difference makes perfect sense. Thanks!

Larry, I too love Acros in Rodinal. Not the most grain-free look but if I wanted grain-free I'd shoot digital (one reason I'm not a huge fan of Tmax 100 for example, just looks too smooth and digital to me oftentimes).

I've souped Acros in a number of developers (Xtol, HC-110, Microdol, D-76) but somehow the crispness and tonal rendition from the Rodinal is particularly pleasing (I'd say with Microdol 1:3 coming in second perhaps).
