john_reichenbach
Anyone in Brownieland willing to part with some 620 spools? I'm tired of paying $10 a roll for 620 film and I'd like to try respooling 120. It sounds easy enough!! I am willing to pay a reasonable sum. jeremy_sutton
Prefer to roll 120 to 620 (for my Brownie Target Six-20) as opposed to paying $8-10 per roll and keeping the spool. Is anyone willing to part with some spools or know of a site that sells them
jeff leiper
I bought two rolls of Tri-X from Film for Classics re-spooled to 620, and guard those spools with my life (there was one in the camera from when my great-grandfather used it last). A local shop here has several customers who drop their film off and he has a special lock box in which to store their 620 spools until he can return them to them. But, to answer your question, look on ebay. There's almost always an ongoing auction for 620 spools, often the metal ones. Using the instructions I found here, I was able to re-spool without difficulty from the first try. This guy's page should be mirrored in case it's ever lost!!
