6 lenses. Which would you choose?

OK, Father Christmas knocks on your door and says you can have any 6 lenses you want in exchange for all the lenses you currently own. What would they be? (And you can't sell them for financial gain!)

Here's my choice:

16-35L
24-105 f4 L IS
70-200 f4 L IS
300 f4 L IS
500 f4 L IS
50 f1.2 L

And, no... I don't want the 1200 f5.6 L as it won't go in my camera bag!

I'm not sure I can fill the order for six, but...20/2.8, 35/2, 50/1.4, 85/1.8, 20-35/2.8 L, and in place of the last lens, I would like polarizing, red, and orange filters for each of the thread sizes. And I believe that would do nicely. And thanks for causing that lens envy to come crawling back to the surface, Jamie; I had subdued it so nicely for a while. JR

This reminds me of those "What would you do with a million dollars?" games. Fun to play, but quite depressing once reality sets in.

MyChoices:
16-35/2.8
24-70/2.8
70-200/2.8IS
50/1.2
300/2.8
400/2.8

Those 6 boxes would definitely cause involuntary bowl movements on Christmas morning!

Nice, although 6 isnt really enough....
50 f/1.4
85 f/1.8
135 f/2.0
200 f/2.0
ts-e 45
and whatever lens took this:
If Santa was being nice (I've been good this year I promise), I'd also like the MP-E and finally a single zoom 17-40 f/4.0. Should be enough after that...

would swap my 50mm f1.8 mk2 for a mk1
would swap my 135mm SF, 70-300 IS & maybe maybe my 200 2.8L II for a 100-400 IS L
would keep my 28mm f2.8 as its a cracker on a compact aps-c body.
would get somebody who knew how to work a 24 TS-E to help me get the best from mine
would ask sigma to redesign the 70mm f2,8 macro as IF (it's only flaw!)
would ask them to make their 10-20 a stop faster and constant
would ask agfa to sell the technology for Scala to somebody else
would ask a higher entity for better weather, or at least interesting rain rather than drizzle, in my neck of the woods.

I used to use all my Nikon glass on a Canon DSLR but for the moment I have switched to a Kodak full frame DSLR. Perhaps at some point I will switch back to a Canon full frame DSLR, but in any case I hope you do not mind me chiming in. I am happy with the six lenses that I already have but would see if Santa would add the Nikon 8mm f2.8 AIS circular fisheye.

He could always surprise me with a Nikon 6mm f2.8 AIS instead and throw in a Nikon 300/2 AIS and Nikon TC-14C. Now that would make for a very Merry Christmas indeed!

It is very nice post IMO !
I might not be very useful, since the author seem uses Canon, but nevertheless, taking about Nikon i would suggest:
1. 14-24 /2.8
2. 24-70 /2.8
3. 50 /1.4
4. 70-200 /2.8 VR
5. 300 /2.8 VR
6. 500 /4 VR

NB.

I am not asking for the most expensive stuff or all six, but I'd like

1. 70 - 200L IS f/4, the sharpest lightest zoom for my travels
2. EF 85 f/1.8 for portraits
3. EFS 10 - 22 for travel
4. EFS 60 Macro f/2.8

Then I would like some more umbrellas, new bag, ohh and 3 pocket wizards... Dream on, and keep saving...
