bob_peters
I've just tried using my 430ex on wireless for the first time but it seems to be firing constantly. The trigger is working as is the receiver (red light goes on to confirm this), flash fires etc) but even if it's not triggered the flash fires within 5 seconds of being ready to do so, over and over again. Does anyone know how to stop this so it only fires when triggered? thanks.
don_bryant2
What kind of wireless trigger? Don Bryant
brandon.r.foster
If you are going to say that you have one of those Cactus V2's then you have a bad trigger. You need to get a new one. If it is another type, I would still look into getting a new one, or having the flash looked at.
PuppyDigs
You don't mean the red light pulse do you? If so, that indicates slave mode. Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter
castsomelight
If you're using generic/eBay wireless triggers, try setting it to a different channel. My 430EX was prone to firing every few seconds when used on channel 1, but only fires when triggered on channel 4.
