joe_nash1
After I got home and opened up the box of my camera, I noticed the hot shoe isturned clockwise ever so slightly. The box by the way has never been opened. When mounting up a external flash, there is enough play to align the flashparallel with the lens. The flash fires fine, and the pop up flash pops up fineas well. Should I leave well enough alone, or should I take it back or send itin? Anyone else experience this? Or am I just being anal. mwaks
I'd say if the play on the mount points the flash straight and the exposures are coming out as expected.....It looks like its not off enough to be a problem.
jchinphotography
I should check my 40D to see if there is an alignment problem there, maybe it is a design flaw.
