Why would one use this developper instead of a more commun one? Thank you.

The pyro-based developers are not really uncommon; several members of this forum are using them on a regular basis. Without getting into the "Which is the best developer?" debate, many of us find that we get optimum sharpness and a very full tonal range, using staining developers. There's plenty of information available if you search the internet.

Nice photograph! Could you supply details of camera, lens, film, developer etc. with your posts?

I started to clean up last week and through 99% of my negatives away, including the sheets where I ordered them. So I can't answer your request, sorry.

I own a few film cameras. I guess it was the Nikon 801s (N8008 in the US) with the 50mm AFD 1.8 lens.

The film is AGFA APX 100 that's for sure. Since I usually used STUDIONAL, the dilution is 1+15, 20°, 4 minutes in a JOBO drum. I never presoaked my films nor did I reduce the devopping times by 15% as recommanded for drums. The negatives are contrasty because I use a diffuse enlarger, DURST 805 multigraph. Fabulous machine...!

Bon weekend!
