everheul
I'm going to buy a 20d, and called A&M after seeing an ad for a 20d at $809 with USA warranty. It sounds to good to be true, just want to hear from anyone who has delt with this vendor. Thanks in advance
greg_cotter
Eric, when you called and asked about the price what was their response? I have seen that ad and was curious about $809 myself.

everheul
Greg:when I called the gentleman confimred the price, and answered yes when I asked if it had a USA warranty. I'm used to dealing with Adorama and B&H and have had good experiences with both, even when problems have been encountered they delt with things quickly and to my satisfaction. Rob:Thanks, I will check it out the site you recommended.
wooi_loon
Are you sure, I checked and price tag is $1249, but still considered very cheap? And found that EOS1Ds only $3449, any scam?

paul -
Let's see... on resellerratings.com, A&M Photo World has a 6-month rating of 0.72 on a scale of 0 to 10, as rated by 198 customers. It has a lifetime rating of 0.69 as rated by 342 customers.
If you want a fair price from a reputable dealer, look at the "Support photo.net" box on photo.net's homepage. B&H and Adorama are good places to deal with. If you find prices significantly lower than theirs, you're probably looking at a scam.
everheul
Thanks guys, looks like these guys are scam artists. I'll probably stick with my old standbys at B&H or Adorama
phyrpowr
My limited experience, two vendors, is that they take your credit card, give you a confirmation number, tell you it's backordered and never ship They just want to get you on the phone to try to sell batteries, filters, whatever, at inflated prices

michael_mays
ressellerratings.com it's the best but you have to take it with a grain of salt there are alot of very unsatisfied reviews you have to read them all.
mark_evans7
Bait and switch! It is too good to be true. The price they quote won't include everything. If you cancel your order they will try to hit you with a restocking fee.
