20D > 580EX slave w/o master?

I have a 580EX and read in the manual that it can be used to communicate

wirelessly with other 580EX's, fully E-TTL. But what if a fellow only want to

own one 580EX and wants to operate it wirelessly off-camera? Is there a gadget

that will mount to the camera's hot shoe and "talk" to the one 580EX?

I guess I'm looking for the wireless parts, complete with full E-TTL, without

the flash bits.

The infrared transmitter is great and comes in very handy, but if <br>you're shooting in bright sunlight and using the flash for fill,<br> you'll find that the infrared doesn't work so well. With this set up, you're sure to have your stobe fire <br>and can have an assistant hold it anywhere you want it.
