ann_overland

This is the weekly thread for the 2013 Photo Project. The task is to make one photo each week for every week in 2013 and to submit it to this thread. Everyone is free to join the project. You can use any camera type and brand. The photo you submit each week should preferably be shot within the week, starting Monday and ending Sunday. You can submit a photo shot fairly recently but prior to this week if you would rather do that. Please specify which camera and lens you were using and the exif data (if available).

Important: please keep your image under 700 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the file size under 300kbNote that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc).

Week #3 is open for uploads. Happy shooting! New contributors are welcome to join us :-)

cyanatic
Out and about at a shopping mall. Wife and daughter went into Forever XXI so my daughter could spend a gift card. The face on any male (father, husband, boyfriend, brother) in that place is always the same: "Please...make this fast so I can get the heck out of here!". So, I just hung out outside with the Galaxy SIII.

lex_jenkins
Not much time for people photography the past couple of weeks, so I've mostly been messing around with pix of January skies. For some reason Texas skies are most interesting in unusually cold or hot weather. Lots of activity at the nearby air base as well, which adds a little graffiti to the cloud formations.

skaiku wun & tu

ann_overland
Great photos so far this week guys! I am changing the rules for the project as of now. You can contribute with up to three photos each week. I think that is better so we don't have to wait until the end of the week to upload a photo, in case that stunning photo should be shot at the end of the week and you had already uploaded your contribution. Happy shooting!

ann_overland
Sanford, I haven't seen salty pretzels since I was a child and we had them each saturday (for some strange reason). They were salty, quite thin and I can still remember how they tasted. I don't think anyone makes them around here anymore.

Who is up for the bacon shot this week?

ann_overland
Maybe the one top right...No, I think they were even thinner :-)

They must still be popular. They even have their own stand and display case.

Spearhead
Excellent Thom. Here's one of mine that is unmanipulated except for crop and minor exposure corrections. (Ignore the watermark, I hit the wrong one in Lightroom.)

Pacific Ocean

Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal

ann_overland
I haven't been out shooting much this past week. It has been really cold around here for a while. I did get some shots on a cemetery before the camera refused to cooperate because of the freezing cold night.
