marc_bergman1
In June 1952 many photographers either hadn't tried color photography or were fairly new to the process. Modern Photography posted this article to provide some help. 11-Hints-1-sm-

Julio Fernandez
Marc, once more, many thanks for posting these! We tend to forget how hard it was to expose color with old films - it took 1/50 at f/6.3 in the sun. Many of those 11 hints are still good, and can be used even with digital. I like that these articles focus more on how to take good pictures than in equipment. The filters article is also very useful. The manufacturer's ads are pure glorious nostalgy... Zeiss had the Contax IIa and IIIa out, Leitz was still selling Barnacks, and NIkon was starting to get into the action. Exaktas, Rolleis and Leicas were about the same price, probably pretty expensive in 1952!
