100 macro USM Tripod Mount Ring with adapter

I have bought on Ebay a Tripod Mount Ring B(B) with adapter for EF

100mm 1:2.8 macro USM.

Is there any user guide or documentation or user advice about how to

mount it and the adapter?

for your EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens?

I did not remember I had a manual for that lens!

Now I had problems with the battery pack and the anti-twist plate from Manfrotto (Bogen). I think I will make a new hole to the focusing rail just to screw the plate on the good place, using the focusing rail over the geared head. But that is another problem.

Ok, as it is said: "when everything else fails read the manual"
