10,000,000th user

So, I got a pop-up today...the first and only so far I've had on

photo.net.

So, my browser didn't like that URL when I clicked the link (that's

the Link URL)... can anyone tell me what I won for being the

10Millionth Photo.net user? (I'm thinking this was a clever 3rd party

pop-up, not really photo.net...but why not find out from the real

photo.net folks just to be sure?)

You are right: it is some kind of third party scam, and doesn't have anything to do with photo.net. Incidentally, we passed the 10 million visitors mark ages ago. We have over a half-million registered users, and probably have a million visitors per month!

I don't think photo.net generated pop ups. Do you have any programs like Gator or Kaaza installed on your computer?

 

Some programs are spyware that will pop up ads on your computer when you visit certian websites. Incidently Gator has been told to stop putting their ads on other websites.
