ed_tobin
I am thinking of taking a long weekend trip to Acadia to shoot the fall foliage. Has anyone been there recently and do you think I will be to late if I show up the Oct 3rd Thanks--Ed
bobatkins
Foliage usually peaks there in the first or second weeks of October, so the 3rd should not be too late. Foliage is very variable, some years great, some just so-so. There are so many variables it's hard to predict what things will be like in any given year. richard_ennis2
I was there 2 years ago from Oct 5-8 and I would consider the tree colors to be early, although the wild blueberry bushes were crimson red. I think around the 8th to 12th of October is usually better. Have Fun! Acadia is beautiful any time of year ! Rich
