Flash for OM-2

Dare I suggest a non-dedicated flash without incurring the wrath of the folks here? Nearly any plain old automatic flash will work just FINE for most purposes - sure, it won't display a ready light in the viewfinder or use through-the-lens metering, but you can certainly get splendid results without that...

I've always used a (non-dedicated) Vivitar 2800 with my OM-G. Set the camera for 1/60, choose the more- or less-powerful Auto mode on the flash, set the f-stop for that mode for the ASA setting of whatever film you have in the camera. Results are mostly excellent.

Best low-cost solution? I keep seeing the Vivitar 2000 (very similar to my 2800, perhaps a little less powerful) in a blister-pack at my local Wal-Mart for UNDER $20!
