justcooltom
WHen I take pictures mainly indoors in poor or low lighting situations I get spots eaither red or green show up int the pictures after I run them thru my computer. Also in those situations I see these spots on the lcd screen. But when I go to daylight or high light situations they are not there either the view finder nor the picture after I download them....any ideas? donald_choi
Sounds like some kind of dust problem on the sensor, but given that this is not a DSLR, I don't know how the heck that happened. For me, when I get dust on my S2 sensor, they are more pronouced for images created with a longer exposure (low light conditions). At faster shutter speeds, the dust is not as visible. That's the only explanation I can come up with. Sorry.
gregory_gardner
Could be a hot or stuck pixel in the camera. Are they always in the same place? Do they go away when you turn on Noise Reduction -- NR?
rendy_cheng
I don't know the exact answer, but I can tell you that I experience the same thing. For day light picture, it takes very good pictures. My guess is the noise of the ccd sensor.
