tracy_storer1
Yes "Chocolate" For years people have been crossing color negative and black and white positive materials in their 8x10 processors(and wasting the other half of each film type in the process). It yields an unusually textured/toned sepia print. (which bears no similarity to Polaroids T56 4x5 Sepia material)A couple years ago due to client demand Polaroid started making it available to us packaged for 20x24. (and we call it...."Chocolate")John Casado is a professional and fine-art photgrapher based in San Francisco, he has been making images with the camera for...about 4 years?More than a client and friend, I like his work. Check it out if you're in town.
steve_hamley
Folks, Here's a couple of related threads, one with an example posted by Tracy. http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=004BLH http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=003FPa Now, how about some 8x10 chocolate for us "small format" users? Thanks! Steve
nathan_congdon
Beyond the URLs that Steve has kindly contributed, is there a web presence of any kind for this artist and his images, or the gallery mentioned, for those of us constrained by the poor fortune of living on the East Coast? Thanks for the tip, Tracy. Nathan
