lamar_larsen
I just received a Recomar 33, ( does any one know how to pronounce this?)and I want to treat the leather bellows. They are a little dry and had a crack that I repaired. I have some Rain and Snow Boot wax would this work? Can I put black shoe polish on it first? It could use a little coloring on some of the leather covering. This is such a cool camera I would like to treat it well. It shows lots of signs of being use but not abused. Thanks all LaMar
chris_eve
For a starter, I'd use a "leather food" treatment, as sold for leather apholstery (sp?), then recolour if necessary with a wax shoe polish of appropriate colour. Bellows need to be kept flexible, (obviously ;-) so need a little more attention than the covering on the camera body itself.
