chris_eve
Bakelite is very inert, so will clean well using most options. The easiest is soap and water. Unless the surface is badly scratched all that is needed then is a polish with a dry duster.
lamar_larsen
I just picked up a Hawkeye Holiday and a Brownie Hawkeye Flash model. Both looked like they were dug up out of the garden. A little window cleaner and then Armor All and they look like new almost. If you put Armor All on it be carefull it will be slick for awhile. And don't get it on the taking lens. You can put some on the view lens I did this on one that was scratched and it looked much better. LaMar
