ben_crabtree
I know that there are occasionally threads about color films here, but it is a B&W forum. Does anyone know of a similar forum for color film discussions? If not, anyone want to volunteer to start one?

scott_eaton
Color printing *might* be worth the time, but the over-all traffic and interest will be a fraction what B/W will be. I don't know anybody at the moment who home processes C-41, and has a justified reason to do so. I also think I'm the only resident mutant who *occasionally* hand processes E-6 and futzes with the 1st/2nd developer times to tweak the film to a certain look. crackers_.
Throw a worm in the water here. When EP2 faded away so did I.
dk_thompson
Well I run E6 at work in a rebuilt Wing Lynch model 4E, but that probably doesn't count as doing it by hand, and I certainly don't do it for fun....we do some pushing & pulling in small bits, like a third of a stop or so to cut the contrast on the furniture we seem to be shooting mostly now, or small pushes to clean up the whites in certain shots too, but nothing much more besides that--seem to have our hands full with the control strips and all that anyways. If anyone wants to swap stories on process control for E6, I'm up for that. C41 and RA4 are like painful distant memories for me though.....
