chris_dollar
I'm considering purchase of a used Fujinon SW 210 f5.6 lens. Printing on the barrel is on the inside. I assume the lens is single coated, but am not sure as specs on Fuji LF lenses are not readily available. Anyone used this particular lens? How much is it worth? -CD
eugene_singer
Chris, I have not used this particular version, however, the Fuji CM-W that I have is an excellent lens. The specs. for all Fuji lenses can be found at http://members.aol.com/subgallery/byfl.htm It is difficult to place a value on a lens sight-unseen, but I have seen these lenses listed on dealer's websites from $289 to $349, depending on the condition of the lens and the shutter. They are older single- coated lenses, but they are mounted in a Copal 1 shutter. They have a larger image circle than the new CM-W version, are more compact in size, and use a 58mm filter. john_porter1
Chris I searched around quite a bit and I could not find a fujinon SW 210 I did find a NWS 210 though with an image circle of 300mm and 210 W)with an image circle of 352mm. I have spent a lot of time looking through lens charts because I was trying to find a good lens around 120 to cover 5x7 and I found the fujinon SW 120 F8 with a 291mm image circle. The fujinon SW 120 had the writing on the inside of the barrel and was single coated and was in a sekio shutter. The lens works excellent and the shutter is right on. I remember checking for other SW lenses as well but I never found a fujinon SW 210. Let me know what you find out though I very well might have missed it and I would be intrested in knowing about it. eugene_singer
Chris, I was assuming that you were referring to the Fuji f5.6 210W. There is no f5.6 210SW shown on the Fuji list. If there was a SW, it would have a max. aperature of f8. There is a Fuji 210 f5.6 W, listed on the Midwest Photo website, in 9+ condition, for $349. You may be able to negotiate a lower price, if you call, and talk to Jim.

tim_atherton2
I have one of these - it's a nice little lens. I think I paid $250 or $260 or so for it. It's supposed to cover more than the newer versions - just enough for 8x10, but I haven't tried it yet.

tedharris
Hello Chris, In addition to the information on Kerry Thalmann's web page, if you go to: http://www.thefstop.com/equipment/new/fuji.html you will find a complete (?) chart of the specs for all Fuji lenses, current and discontinued. As an added, slightly off point note I have owned and used several of the Fuji single coated lenses (but not the 210) and found them to be excellent performers. Cheers, Ted
