root
What is the proper use of photoshop on a site that is dedicated to photography? This may seem like a provocative question, but if it is taken seriously, it could go a long way toward reducing the current level of animosity on this site between creators and viewers who care about a faithful rendering of a subject and those who say they don't. My goal in posting this is to try to define a line as clearly as possible that explores all the commonly used PS features and determine which side of the line they fall on. To those who say it's not possible, it has already been done in camera clubs where separation of the two classes of images for competitive purposes was determined to be in the best interest of the club.
